The Children's Ballet Theatre is open to dancers between 8 and 18 years old who have had a minimum of two years of ballet training. Prospective dancers must pass a technical audition and a personal interview to be placed in the company. Auditions are held in December, after the close of the annual Nutcracker performance and again in the spring. The Artistic Director determines selection of all dancers.
